Customer Contact Representative

• Gain a Certificate III in Customer Contact
• Located in Sydney’s CBD
• Gain experience working in a customer service environment

One of our host employers with an established history within the IT industry is seeking a customer service-orientated and capable individual to join their team. This 12 month, full time opportunity will have you developing your IT knowledge and gaining invaluable practical experience in customer contact and customer service. 

Your duties will include:

• Managing inbound and outbound customer calls
• Assisting with IT related customer enquires
• Assisting with IT related issues via remote access
• Selling a range of specialised products
• Doing quotes and follow-ups to aid with winning new and repeat business
• Order processing and sales administration.

Selection criteria:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• A polite and pleasant telephone manner
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• Motivated
• Team player
• Able to work efficiently during busy periods
• 12 months’ experience in business-to-business or retail sales is preferred.

Eligibility criteria: 

• Must not have attained a qualification over a Certificate II 
• Australian citizen, permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen that has resided in Australia for more than 6 months.
