The diverse team at WorkVentures is made up of 50 people based in Sydney, bringing a wide range of skills and experience.

We use our enterprise as a vehicle to create jobs, work experience, and training opportunities for trainees and people facing disadvantages. 

Our safe, friendly, and collaborative workplace supports people to learn new skills, overcome personal barriers, and build pathways to economic independence and social inclusion. 

Caroline McDaid

Chief Executive Officer

Caroline is a strategic, commercial and impact focused executive with experience across the commercial, not for profit and social enterprise sectors. She is recognised for her authentic and collaborative approach to both leadership and partnership. Her career has seen her progress through a diverse range of corporate and for-purpose roles, providing her with a unique skillset..

incorporating corporate governance, P&L management, income generation (including not for profit), strategy setting and execution, strategic partnerships, complex commercial contract negotiation, program management and leading highly diverse teams. Caroline is a Chartered Accountant, has an Executive MBA and a BA in Accounting & Finance. Caroline has experience as a NFP board member and consultant to social enterprises.

Scott Dibb

General Manager

Scott has 35 years of experience in the electronics and IT industry, commencing his career in the Department of Defence (Navy). He joined WorkVentures in 1993 as an electronics trainer and workshop manager, becoming our Customer Account Manager and working closely with our multinational IT partners for repair and logistics services. Mark Gilio

Head of Finance & IT – Company Secretary

Jenny Bourke

Head of Employment Solutions

Jenny is an experienced internal and agency recruiter with many years of experience in both the corporate space and the not-for-profit sector. With a focus on customer service, she builds strong relationships with candidates and clients to ensure quality outcomes for both. She enjoys developing staffing solutions for businesses that are innovative, resulting in sourcing the best..

Sky Reidy

Head of Programs, Partnership and Impact 

Sky is a strategic, commercial, and impact-focused leader with experience across the technology, media, and for-purpose sectors. She has held senior leadership roles across Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia, including Chief Operating Officer at a leading AUNZ ecommerce agency and Head of Commercial at an environmental technology platform focused on nature-based impact. 

Her career spans product development, commercial strategy, and operational leadership. She was part of the founding team behind Australia’s first media trading platform, scaling it internationally to support USD2billion in annual media spend. She also led the M&A integration and rebrand of New Zealand’s top Salesforce consultancy into a global media and marketing network, and its launch into the Australian market. 

At WorkVentures, Sky leads the IT Solutions portfolio, overseeing programs in digital inclusion and cybersecurity for not-for-profits, alongside technology donation and impact initiatives. Her early life experiences have shaped a strong commitment to ensuring others have access to the tools, education, and opportunities they need to thrive. 

Sky holds a B.A. in Political Economy from the University of Sydney and an MBA (Technology) from UNSW.

 

Bahar Naser

Head of Marketing & Digital Strategy

She has a bachelor’s degree in computer science, a master’s degree in Computer Software Engineering, and pursuing her Ph.D. in Data Science.

Daniel Keogh

Head of Technology Solutions 

Daniel is an experienced technical leader with over 30 years in electronics and telecommunications repair. With a hands-on background, he brings a practical, solutions-focused approach to leadership and technical operations.

He led WorkVentures’ transition into telecommunications repair in 2008 and has been instrumental in managing and evolving the repair centre since stepping into a management role in 2019. Mil Kotagama

Mil has held leadership positions in start-ups, SME’s and MNC’s, where he has exercised his efficiency expertise to elevate profitability by expanding out to new markets, developing new opportunities, while improving internal processes that benefited the entire business.  Mil joined the WorkVentures team in 2021 to work with like-minded people to make a social impact.
