WorkVentures at PwC Transparency Awards

WorkVentures' 2009 annual report has been shortlisted in the top ten for its revenue category in the 2010 PwC Transparency Awards announced last night (Wednesday 13 April).

This is the fourth year the the awards have been run by PricewaterhouseCoopers, The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, and the Centre for Social Impact. The Awards aim to recognise the quality and transparency of reporting in the not-for-profit sector.

WorkVentures is delighted that its 2009 annual report was shortlisted in the category for organisations with annual revenue between $5m and $20m. The category winner was Camp Quality, and runner-up was Opportunity International. Winner in the category for revenue more than $20m was Mission Australia, and runner-up was Oxfam Australia. Plan Australia won the award for most improved report.

WorkVentures 2010 annual report will be available at its Annual General Meeting on 3 May, and will be available for downloading from the publications section of this website after the AGM. Previous annual reports, including the 2009 report, are currently available from our publications page.
