iGetIT! is a two week computer training program targeted at indigenous youth that we have been running for the past year in partnership with community organisations and indigenous centres. Over the past few months we have been conducting research into the impact the course has had on the participants of the training in order to measure the success of the courses and ensure the effectiveness of the program. The result of the research is the 2009 iGetIT! Evaluation Report which was completed in May 2010.
The Report offers a snapshot of the positive impact the courses have had on participants and confirms our belief in the success of the program. Most notably, the results highlight a confidence boost for youth who participate in the training and a positive change in attitude towards study and employment.
