Presentation for Amazing Race winners

The prize ceremony for the winners of our 2009 Campbelltown Amazing Race was held on 15 October 2009 at WorkVentures' Airds Local Enterprise Centre. Prizes were presented by The Hon Graham West MP, Member for Campbelltown, and NSW Minister for Juvenile Justice, Minister for Volunteering, Minister for Youth, and Minister Assisting the Premier on Veterans' Affairs.

WorkVentures' 2009 Campbelltown Amazing Race was held on Thursday 8 October, starting and finishing from Koshigaya Park in Campbelltown (corner of Camden Road and Hurley Street).

Coordinated by our Airds Local Enterprise Centre, more than 70 participants entered the race in teams of five. The race started at 8.30am and involved participants familiarizing themselves with the city. All teams had a map with five allocated checkpoints. The team leader was given a camera and had to photograph the entire team in one photo at each checkpoint. Once all the checkpoints were completed, they headed back to the starting point at Koshigaya Park. The families of team participants spent the day at Koshigaya Park, Campbelltown and enjoyed free games and activities while the race was on.
