Case study: Peter settles in a new area

A WorkVentures computer helped Peter settle into Orange after he moved from Sydney.

Not able to afford a new computer, Peter used the WorkVentures Purchase Plan to buy a power pack.

“I didn’t really have much idea about how to use a computer but with the technical support from WorkVentures, the help of a neighbour and lots of trial and error I am now comfortable with it,” said Peter.

Peter became president of the local darts team and found that being able to email members saved him lots of time in phone calls. He's even bought and sold a few things on e-Bay plus kept in touch with relatives in Scotland.

“Having the computer has helped me keep myself a lot more occupied,” added Peter.
